Which object may surprise the people who don’t know you well?  No doubt, the cooking spoon. Cooking itself has a meditation effect to me but I also love the social aspect of hosting my family and friends.      

Which object says the most about you?  The three Playmobile figures have not been placed in the center of my flatlay by coincidence. This represents my deepest conviction: “FAMILY FIRST”.  

Which object would others describe as „typical“ for you? I would assume the book “Drive”. Being a car enthusiast may not be contemporary anymore but unfortunately I can’t hide nor heal it.  

Which object do you associate with both, your work and your personal life? Food. For me, good food is a key essence for a happy life. I am fascinated by how combining a few simple ingredients can lead to incredible (tasty) outcomes or how concepts we have taken for granted for years, are disrupted by new approaches – just like innovation along the ingredients value chain.

Which object may surprise the people who don’t know you well? Painting. I love the freedom and craziness of my thoughts that evolve as soon as I am standing in front of a canvas. As someone wise once said: “Creativity is piercing the mundane to find the marvellous”.

Which object is especially dear to you? The “CAPE TOWN” travel guide. There is nothing more enriching and educating than exploring new cultures and geographies. I had the privilege to spend a few years of my life abroad and what these experiences taught me most is the appreciation for diversity.

Which object do you associate with both, your work and your personal life? The hiking boot, as they have experienced both ascents and descents but have ever been on track and a goal to reach.

Which object may surprise the people who don’t know you well? Probably the cooking spoon as sometimes I am even surprised by myself when standing in the kitchen for hours

Which object says the most about you? Maybe the hunting hat as this hobby requires deep focus but also provides a lot of moments to enjoy, both things I would consider important for me

Which object do you associate with both work and your personal life? The skipping rope: Sport is a big part of my life and a key element to keeping my mind and body happy; as my equalizer it brings balance to my crazy multilayered life – work, home, mother, wife, friends. This is my time for self-reflection, both from a work and personal level.

Which object may surprise the people who don’t know you well? South African Pack of Cards: I am originally from South Africa but grew up in a bi-lingual household speaking German and English. Many people are surprised when I tell them about my heritage.

Which object would others describe as „typical“ for you? Wine bottle opener: It’s Friday evening and the winddown for the weekend has started, I open a bottle of wine and cook dinner together with my friends and family. It is settings like this that others would describe are typical for me.

Which object says the most about you? The cooking spoon. Cooking is creating, cooking is bringing people together, and cooking is trying to be the servant of nature’s gifts for the enjoyment of friends and loved ones.

Which object do you associate with both, your work and your personal life? Airpods – used for conference calls and listening to music while doing sports

Which object says the most about you? The VfB Stuttgart shirt – representative for my loyalty and support even if things don’t always go according to plan

Which object is especially dear to you? The passport – allowing me to travel the world

Which object do you associate with both work and your personal life? Running shoes – endurance counts in almost every situation
